basalt and onyx marble plinth, signed Omerth to bronze 
 Measures: 18 cm High.
 
 
He is probably best known for his bronzes and chryselephantine figurines and statuettes that often depict young children. Omerth was very versatile as a sculptor.  He production range includes animalier* pieces in the form of dogs and deer, French military subjects, art nouveau* bronzes usually featuring women in hats and bonnets, and art deco* sporting statues produced in the 1920s and 1930s depicting tennis, football and golf players.
