Antique Meccano N6 from 1920 Game very good original receipt
with quite complete manual it comes with the clockwork motor which again is like new in the box with the instructions. this set is in the original wooden box with cabinet
there are a number of pieces that do not belong in this set. Most prominent are the plates with grooves formed in the otherwise flat surface.
These are from American Model Builder (AMB), one of Meccano's early American competitors. In fact, Meccano sued AMB for patent and copyright infringement, and AMB seems to have been out of business around 1920.
